Hilton Comes to Nashik, Goa, Jaipur — And RPH Students Could Be Managing These Hotels
The hotel map of India is being redrawn. Hilton and the Embassy Group’s Olive brand announced India’s first 10 Spark by Hilton hotels in April 2026, with properties spanning leisure and business corridors including cities like Nashik, Goa, and Jaipur. This is not an isolated deal — it is part of a broader pattern of international hotel brands moving beyond metro cities and into secondary markets that until recently were underserved by branded hospitality.
This expansion changes the career calculus for hospitality graduates. Opportunities are no longer concentrated in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. Trained professionals are now in demand in cities where the lifestyle appeal — lower cost of living, growing tourism footfall, proximity to family — makes working locally genuinely attractive.
RPH faculty see this as a direct opportunity for their students: “When Hilton opens in Nashik, they don’t fly in managers from London. They hire from regional colleges with strong hospitality programs. Our graduates have managed properties in Mumbai — they are more than ready for a brand-new Spark by Hilton in a leisure corridor.” For students from smaller cities who want to build careers without leaving home, the international hotel industry is now coming to them.
