India’s Hotel Boom is Here — And RPH Graduates Are Ready to Lead It
India’s listed hotel operators are in the middle of an unprecedented expansion wave. With over 70,000 new hotel rooms being added by 2030 and major international brands accelerating their India pipelines, the industry is entering a phase of growth not seen in decades. Hilton alone is planning 125 new Hampton properties across India through a partnership with Royal Orchid Hotels — a deal announced in April 2026 that signals how seriously global chains are betting on India’s market.
For students choosing a career today, this translates into something simple: there will be more hotel management jobs available over the next five years than ever before in Indian history. RPH faculty are direct about what this means: “The supply of trained professionals is not keeping pace with hotel inventory growth. Graduates from structured hotel management programs are being placed faster, at higher starting salaries, than at any time in the last decade.”
Entry-level hotel management positions at Hilton, Marriott, IHCL, and other international operators are now starting at ₹3.5 lakh and above, with accelerated growth tracks for candidates with formal hospitality education. The boom is no longer a projection — it is a hiring reality.
