You manage social media content requests for your institute. You create posts, review content prepared by the Social Media team, and approve final posts before publishing.

📋 Step-by-Step Guide

Login to Your Account

Visit your site and login with your credentials

  • URL: https://buntsconnect.com/wp-login.php
  • Username: Provided by admin
  • Password: Check your email or reset if needed
💡 First Time Login? You’ll be prompted to change your password. Choose a strong one you can remember!

Navigate to Your Group

Find and access your institute’s group

  • Click on Groups in the top menu
  • Select your institute from “My Groups”
  • Look for the “Tickets” tab in your group
ℹ️ Can’t see the Tickets tab? Contact your administrator – you may not be assigned to this group yet.

Create a Social Media Post Request

Request a new social media post for your institute

  1. Click “New Ticket” button
  2. Enter a clear Subject (e.g., “Annual Day 2026 Post”)
  3. Select Ticket Type: “Social Media Request”
  4. Choose Social Media Post Type:
    • Monday Motivation – Weekly motivational content
    • Wednesday Wins – Midweek achievements
    • Friday Fun – End-of-week fun content
    • Topical Special Occasions – Holidays, festivals, events
    • Regular – General announcements
  5. Set Priority (Low/Medium/High/Urgent)
  6. Set Target Date – When you need it published
  7. Assign to Social Media Representative (optional)
  8. Describe your requirements in Description
  9. Upload photos/videos/documents if you have them
  10. Click “Submit Ticket”

View Social Media Kanban Board

Track all your social media posts in a visual board

  • In your group’s Tickets tab, click “Social Media” button
  • View posts organized by type in 5 columns
  • See status at a glance (New, In Progress, Approved, etc.)
  • Click any card to view full details

Monitor Your Tickets

Keep track of all your social media requests

  • View Active Tickets – ongoing posts
  • View Archive – completed posts
  • Use Search – find tickets by ID or subject
  • Filter by Status – see what needs attention
🔔 Email Notifications: You’ll receive emails when:
  • SMR team updates your ticket
  • Status changes (e.g., Ready for Approval)
  • Someone adds a comment

Review & Update Status

When SMR team prepares your content

  • Open the ticket from your list
  • Review the prepared content, images, captions
  • Click “Update Status” to expand options
  • Select new status:
    • In Progress – Being worked on
    • Approval Required – Ready for your review
    • Approved – Good to publish
    • Rejected – Needs changes
    • Resolved – Work completed
  • Add a note to explain your decision
  • Click “Update Status”

Add Comments & Attachments

Communicate with the Social Media team

  • Scroll to “Add a Comment” section
  • Type your feedback, suggestions, or requirements
  • Click “Attach files” to upload new images/videos
  • Click “Post Comment”
✅ Best Practices:
  • Be specific with your feedback
  • Provide alternative images if rejecting
  • Respond quickly to keep posts on schedule
  • Use @mentions if needed

Set & Update Target Dates

Ensure posts are delivered on time

  • When creating a ticket, set Target Date
  • In ticket view, update target date using the date picker
  • Overdue posts are highlighted in red with a pulsing indicator
  • Set realistic dates considering review time
⏰ Recommended Timeline:
  • Regular posts: 3-5 days before publish date
  • Event posts: 1 week before event
  • Urgent posts: Mark as High/Urgent priority

A: Typically 2-3 business days. For urgent posts, mark them as “Urgent” priority and the SMR team will prioritize them.

Q: Can I edit a post after submitting?

A: Yes! Open the ticket and add a comment with your changes. The SMR team will update accordingly.

Q: What if I need urgent changes?

A: Add a comment marked as urgent, or change the priority to “Urgent”. The team receives email notifications immediately.

Q: Can I see posts from other institutes?

A: No. You can only see tickets from your assigned institute(s) for privacy and data security.

Q: Who can I assign posts to?

A: You can assign to any Social Media Representative, Institute Representative, Support Agent, or Administrator who has access to your group.
